Camphill Estates was established by Karl König as the legal entity for the first Camphill community, and now owns and cares for the land of five Aberdeen charities, who pay us a monthly rent allowance. Part of this monetary contribution is dedicated to support our fundraising team, meaning 100% of all donations made to our partner charities are dedicated to the promoted cause

Our portfolio

We own five estates around Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, and we work in partnership with the Camphill charities who use them

(and 2) Murtle Estate Murtle Estate houses Camphill School Aberdeen houses, workshops and the FRUVER distribution enterprise, as well as the Camphill Wellbeing Trust medical practice, offices and accommodations. Murtle Market, a café and refillery that sells a diverse array of products including organic goods produced in Camphill School Aberdeen, is located here.
  1. Camphill Estate Here, you will find therapy, workshop and housing buildings from Camphill School Aberdeen
  1. Cairnlee Estate The care homes utilised by Simeon Care for the Elderly, as well as housing and workshop buildings from Camphill School Aberdeen, are found within this estate
  1. Beannachar Situated on a historical site, the Beannachar Camphill community includes housing for students and staff, workshop and farm buildings.
  1. Compass Compass is a project led by Camphill Wellbeing Trust which is transforming the former Aberdeen Waldorf School into an inclusive communal space dedicated to wellbeing and sustainability
  1. Tigh a’Chomainn Situated in Peterculter, Tigh a’Chomainn estate includes houses and workshops for disabled adults
  1. Newton Dee Newton Dee is a Camphill community for disabled adults. Newton dee land and buildings are not owned by Camphill Estates
